Extra Fruit or Vegetables in your Yard going to waste? Consider calling SENIOR GLEANERS Senior Gleaners are all volunteers 55 & older who give their time & labor in gleaning surplus food from fields, groves & stores. Their goal is to help provide food at no charge for the neediest segment of our communitites – the homeless, elderly, disabled & famililies on low or fixed income. They will pick up your donations or come & pick them. Deliver two meals daily to shut-ins average is 80 - 1,100 meals delivered in San Diego - 92 in Escondido.

San Diego Blood Bank, 1340 W Valley Pkwy , Esc( Reg Hours: T-F 10am-6pm , Sat 8:30am-4:00pm ) . Stop by the SD Blood Bank to donate blood, be sure to pick up your donor card & drop it in the collection or parish office. Give the “gift of life” for someone.
