| Children's Church
Children's Church is offered every Sunday during the readings of the 8:30 a.m. Mass. Children Pre-K (4 years old) through 4th grade are invited by Fr. Jim to gather downstairs as adult and youth volunteers convey the Gospel Message through a Children's Liturgy of the Word and activity sheets. Everyone is welcome - no advance sign-up is required.
'This ministry is designed to help young children come to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the liturgy so that they can more fully participate in the liturgy as they grow.'
Because of the large number of children participating, it is important that children cooperate and are well behaved. We ask for your support to make Children's Church enjoyable and meaningful for all those involved. Anyone interested in volunteering once a month or more, can call Cathy de la Rosa at 480-2938. Periodic training and evaluations are done by our Director of Catechetical Ministries. Mo advance training is required, just a love for children.
