Dear Parents of All Ages,

Welcome to “Parents in Touch”! We are 32 members strong and we are looking for others to join this wonderful group. Our group touches St. Timothy’s parishioners as well as friends from other parishes and religions. This is a terrific way to meet new women and men of all ages with whom you may have a lot in common. We are entering our third year as a ministry and we welcome ideas and help from all of our members. We will strive to enrich the emotional & spiritual lives of its members as well as come together to share joys, accomplishments and expectations of committed wives, husbands, fathers and mothers.

The “Parents in Touch” program will include informational & inspirational speakers, creative crafts, community service and other optional gatherings outside our meetings. For those parents with children, your children are kept busy with teachers & childcare workers in age-appropriate rooms. We will work hard to ensure that the children are provided a fun, safe environment in which to develop friendships. Please call Pat Freitas by Sept. 6 h with your childcare needs.

Do you know a “Mentor Parent”? For those who believe that they are too “mature” to attend our meetings – we would love to have them join us & share their insights as a parent. We are always looking for speakers (see enclosed program) as well as childcare workers (paid position). If you know of someone, please invite them to join us.

We will meet downstairs at St. Timothy’s on the 3 rd Thursday of every month promptly from 9:30-11:30am .

Dues for the year are as follows (September – June)

• Parent only: $45
• Parent plus one child: $72 ($3.00 per meeting/per child)
• Parent plus two or more children: $99

(This fee is prorated for those joining us later)

The fee goes toward childcare costs, general & craft supplies (for parents & children) and speaker costs (if any). St. Timothy’s will help supplement our needs. You can pay by check, cash, Visa or Mastercard. Dues are payable by our first meeting on September 16, 2004 . There is a $10 discount if paid by Sept. 6 th. Alternative pay schedules are also available. St. Timothy’s has allowed us some monies for scholarships for those of you who may not be able to meet the fee obligation.
