Vacation Bible School June 23-27, 2008

Kids won’t want to miss this year’s VBS where they will discover Jesus’ miraculous power at Power Lab! Power Lab VBS Registration! April 20 and 27th After the 8:30 and 10:30 Masses Stop by our Power Lab booth after mass and sign up your kids for this year’s Vacation Bible School where kids will discover Jesus’ miraculous power. We will also be asking for donations from our generous parishioners to help support the program.
VBS will be help June 23-27. Please pick up a “beaker” with a requested item and bring it to the church labeled for VBS! If you would like to volunteer please stop by our booth and sign up! Thanks so much in advance for for your support of the kids and the VBS ministry!

Annual Catholic Appeal 2008
Our Goal this year is $38,000 the same as last year. All pledges PAID above $38,000 will be returned to the parish. To date we have Pledges of $11,370, paid $5,890. We still need $32,110 to reach our goal. Please be generous

Dear Parishioners of St. Timothy’s,

Please give a warm welcome this weekend to Father Steve Moeller, a missionary priest currently serving in Argentina, who will be here to preach at all the Masses. I encourage you to be very generous in support of the work
of missionaries in addition to your regular support of our parish.

Last Saturday’s Golf Tournament, Dinner and Auction was truly an enjoyable and successful fund raising event to
benefit the Youth Ministry in our parish. Sincere thanks to the hard working planners and to all our parishioners for
your support and participation.

I am also very grateful to our Parish Life Committee, headed by Donna Anderson, for the excellent Baccalaureate
Mass and Brunch for our graduating seniors. I am sure that these young people were encouraged by your prayerful
support at the 10:30 a.m. Mass and by the hospitality shown to them afterwards. Let us pray that they remain
close to Christ and the Church during their college years and beyond.

Congratulations to our parishioners Jim and Nancy Healey on the occasion of their 50th Wedding Anniversary. They
renewed their vows and received a special blessing at the 5:00 p.m. Vigil Mass on June 7. I ask for your remembrance in prayer as I celebrate the 30th anniversary of my Ordination to the Priesthood on Monday,
June 9. I was ordained along with four others by Bishop Leo T. Maher at Our Mother of Confidence in University
City. I rely on your prayers to remain faithful to my vocation and to persevere in God’s service.
